Sneak Peek into My Nuru Life- Part 3

This post will draw attention to some interesting facts in my job and the demographics of my clients.

Are there any interesting memories you would like to share?

When I first started, there was no guarantee that there would be a massage where I was going. It could be just a prank, so I was always nervous and kept my fingers crossed that the client would show up. I had a love hotel by the hour in D5 that I used quite often. Before a massage, I would call them and book a time and wait for clients in its  lobby without checking in the room first just in case if they backed out, I wouldn’t have to pay for it. Quite a few times, a client cancelled after I booked a room but I just needed to call the hotel and cancelled the reservation. All the staff knew me, and I got a couple of bottles of water and good rooms after some time. I just needed to say my number and they knew it was me calling them. Then the hotel got busier and the owner opened a second and a third one; the usual staff were transferred to new locations; I lost my privileges, so I started to look into new places after trying out different theme rooms (classroom, Egyptian room, Chinese room, etc.) in one of the new chains. For love bird hotels, if you book after 10 PM, you have to pay for the whole night, and naturally it’s a bit cheaper than a full rate. I sometimes stayed in the hotel; sometimes I came home depending on how late it was and how I felt that night. When I first started, I felt quite embarrassed entering a hotel and answering questions posed by receptionist. One would assume that the sole purpose of a visit paid by a woman to a man’s room is more often than not related to sex. Since Vietnam was quite strict on late hour visits and is still tough on unmarried people staying together, hotel staff scrutinized all female guests thinking that most female visitors are hookers of some sorts. Then I got over it by thinking that I had nothing to hide; it’s a service and it’s an art actually. I started to walk about as I owned the place. I also got better at sneaking in and out five-star hotels. The bigger the hotel is, the easier for me to visit clients’ room without going through the reception. I could always meet a client in the basement and ride the elevator together with him, or I could meet him at the entrance of a swimming pool or at a lounge, a bar and have a drink with him before going up to his room. I have never had to register my name at the reception in big hotels (Sheraton, Park Hyatt, Caravelle, Nikko, Reverie, Le Meridien, Pullman, Rex, Hotel Des Arts, The Myst, Majestic, Intercontinental, New World) except for Novotel and Renaissance. For the latter, I entered the client’s room without a hitch then he received a phone call from the reception to ask me to go back down to enter my name into their database. It turned out that they saw us on camera; my client promised to leave my name on the way out, but we never did. Novotel was a different story. There’s a guard in front of a glass door and there’s no way you can sneak in unless you can get a go- ahead from the front desk. Later on, when I couldn’t escape the reception anymore, leaving my ID was part of the job. I could understand why the law makes it that way; it is to protect the guests in case visitors are thieves. When I was in BKK, I told the receptionist to take down every guest’s ID before sending him up my room. Also, when I was in BKK, I let my guard down one time. A client came to pick me up in the middle of the night to take me to his fancy apartment in downtown for a training session. All I remember was there were maybe 4 apartments on each floor and he never locked his doors since he told me that he trusted his neighbor. There was a vespa in his apartment as a decoration. I didn’t know how he got it up there, but money might have found a way. Then Airbnb got my attention. I love going to people’s houses and looked at their decorations, their layout and tastes in art to get some inspirations and ideas for my future home. I combed through hundreds of Airbnb, hotels in my free time and saved them under my favorites, cities, districts, different massage packages. I have to say I have a quite exhaustive lists of nice Airbnb apartments and hotels to choose from for any purposes. I usually read the reviews written by other guests, examine the ratings and see which criterion gets the highest score; additionally, I look at the photos, the room size, its location on the map and what is offered together with the room, whether there is private parking or parking nearby, the wall color, the lighting, any unusual features. I became more sophisticated in room requirements rather than in personality. The first year into Sheila’s Approach massage training where I offered free practice on me if clients didn’t have a partner; lots of clients weren’t sold by the idea since when they looked at me in ordinary clothes and no make-up, they saw a pretty plain Jane. After they had sessions with me, they were all surprised since I looked different naked and always questioned the motive behind my action. I told them it’s a skill service not a beauty contest; the fact that I looked good was a bonus not a selling point. Also, people always love a nice surprise not a disappointment. One of the most memorable experience was the first session with a Brazilian in Majestic hotel; when the client saw me put on clothes the first time, he burst into laughing because he had never seen a girl wearing grandma’s underwear type. I hadn’t known what I was wearing was called grandma’s underwear till then. What an embarrasing moment. I have countless of such stories to tell but they will be the topic for another post.

What are some major milestones in your massage career? How many students / nuru clients have you had so far?

8/2014 I gave my first nuru to a German client then the second one to an American client in the same month.

6/2015 Sheila-s Approach Massage was first offered at $50/ session together with Sheila’s nuru.

1/2016 Nuru price was adjusted from $100/1h to $150/h. The first two packages were standard which included a Sheila’s Approach Massage Training and a Sheila’s nuru and deluxe with 3 learning sessions and a nuru. Due to an increasing number of interests in nuru I received, I thought it would save time to just direct clients to a simple page, so I started a blog called meandnuru.blogspot.com to give information about my product and it’s been active ever since.

4/2016 Two more packages are offered on the menu: VIP and VVIP. One of them included two star classy hotels.

6/2016 Paypal cancellation fee was established and is still applied for late sessions or remote areas. Usually I give services at clients’ hotel or private residences, but sometimes they live with others so they pay for the hotels or apartments I suggest or Paypal me the cancellation fees and I book the place myself. If they bail out, at least I get to stay in the hotel for free.

9/2016 Sheila’s Approach Massage was raised by $10/ session to $60/ session.

11/2016 Platinum (which includes the hotel rates in the price; it’s where clients feel adventurous enough to trust me completely with the room to get them from one nice surprise to another pleasant surprise.) and Royal Package were added to the menu.

7/2017 Sheila’s Massage Training price was adjusted a second time to $70/ session and has stayed the same ever since.

1/2018 Sheila’s Massage was offcially offered.

3/2019 Sheila-4playmassagetraining.com came into being. The website caters for legitimate erotic massage training and massage services.

And along the way… At the first I didn’t accept repeat clients, so after giving nuru to a client, I deleted their number to protect their identity and our conversations; it was also a great way to make nuru clients less obssessed with me. The there’s this five star hotel director kept asking me for a second nuru; I finally agreed to it and I ended up giving him 3 nuru massages in total. At the very beginning of my nuru career, I exchanged nuru massages with an IELTS teacher for private lessons at a ratio of 3 hours of his to one hour of mine. After giving him two nuru in two weeks; we realized that it worked best when between nuru massages, there was a break of a few weeks to build up all the tension and stress that needed to be relieved.

Also along the way, the idea of how to scientifically keep a record of clients, how many of them or where they are from or what industry they are in or how old they are didn’t occur to me till later on. The number of potential clients I had to talk to increased exponentially, I decided to never save a number until the number’s owner became a client. For the first two years, after I started having my first repeat client, I saved new clients’ first name. When I began having too many same first names, I added other features to their name. By then, I’d already had countless American, French, German, and English clients. Therefore, I began to save a new client under their nationality plus their job/ their country/ their location in town. Sometimes I save a new popular nationality under Nth Client, then Nth+1 Client. For rare nationalities, I started with the first… client such as First Chinese Client, Second Taiwanese Client and so on. Or I sometimes save clients under the industry they are in such as German Pilot, French Pilot and Italian Pilot. In addition, I save clients under the package they take like First Sheila’s Massage Client, Couple Client or Sheila’s Massage 14th. Basically, it was too late to have a scientific and logical method to keep track of client numbers, so I cannot tell exactly how many clients I have had. The fact that some clients are so discreet that they only contact me through email, so I never have their number to save; some even created an email just for one massage then deleted it for good. Some found me on Line and I have never saved their number, either. I changed my phones very often-every year or every 1.5 years depending on what comes first- They cannot turn on because I have dropped them many times or their features are not great for my work. Every time I change my phone, some of clients’ numbers or messages disappeared because they are saved on the phone not on extra memory card. Out of curiosity, I counted all the contacts with the word Client next to it on my recent phone; 182 results came up. Saving clients’ number in this way is beneficial in many ways. For one, when a wife sends me a message to ask me if A, her husband, is my client on FB. I can always tell her that I never know my clients’ name nor remember their face unless they are regular clients. Also, I can always tell her it is a clients’ privilege not to have their number or identity disclosed. If she wants to know the truth, ask her husband.

What kind of students do you have in terms of age and sexual experience?

As for my clients’ backgrounds, they are quite varied. The majority of my clients are executive officers; many are businessmen;  a good number of them are teachers; a dozen of them are business owners; quite a few are high tech people; few are scientists; two or three are traders; a couple are therapists; you name it. The problem with massage therapists is that they rarely find a good masseuse especially if they are a good one themselves. Whenever I give a massage to a masseuse, I am always nervous because they have high expectations, but luckily all the therapists that received a massage from me as a paying client or those who exchanged a massage with me were happy.

I don’t reach out to people  under 30 because from my past experience, young people are still in an exploring stage and think they can pick up enough knowledge and gain experience through porn and from their partner respectively. When people have had enough sexual encounters to be relatively satisfied with their scores, they start to look deeper for better sexual experiences, better orgasm, spiritual sex and mindfulness. However, some young clients found me by chance and insisted on learning; in such cases, I were happy to help them explore their sensual side. My youngest client is 23 years old and my oldest would be 70; on average, the rest of them would be in their late thirties to late forties. In terms of sexual experiences, I don’t know how honest people are when they fill in the sexual profile but judging from what they wrote, Germans seem to experience it all and more Germans experienced what is on my list than any clients of other nationalities . Once my clients and I have seen each other naked, it’s a lot easier to talk. Some share with me their deepest secrets that they cannot reveal to anyone even their partners knowing that I always act in their interest and offer them the most sincere advice.
