It’s a tradition that at the end of every year, I recollect what happens throughout the year and extend my gratitude to clients who have supported me during its entirety. After my massage business was hard hit in 2020, it picked up quickly and grew at the same rate as the year 2019. In the first 4.5 months, thankfully enough, I would say, I acquired quite a few clients and some of them became my regulars before I moved to the US. Right before HCMC was plagued with Covid 19 Delta variant, I got to experience a few nice Airbnbs, one of which was simply stunning, and new hotels that I had set my eyes on and wanted to tick off. The only setback was that my lunar new year holiday in Phu Quoc was ruined by compulsory quarantine in a local hospital for 4 days just because one of my students at school had COVID. However, later on I went back for a night at Vinpearl hotel and another night at Shell resort to give Phu Quoc island another chance. I also brought my massage session closer to home by booking a few hotels in district 7 where my apartment was. I couldn’t complain. I could have worked to the day I left if it had not been fear for the possibility of contracting Covid from clients or giving clients the virus since I had to take a covid test before I went to the airport. I still remember cancelling an appointment with a client who ordered a package of $250 2 days before I flew out since I didn’t feel well and started coughing. It was a false alarm; it was just a normal cough period that I suffered from a few times a year due to speaking too much as a language teacher and a massage trainer.
It would be amiss if I don’t mention my special French friend cum repeat client. In an effort to make up for his cancellations, he decided to put me in Lotte Legend hotel, but I chose a beach vacation instead. Also an American that I met a few years ago wanted to do a Platinum package for 3 days in a row in Mui Ne, all expenses paid for. Years of meeting people in person and talking about my work have finally paid off. People came to me from out of the blue and when I least expected. It had always been their intention to try my service but they didn’t get around to do it. One of my clients of 2021 was an international couple, the husband visiting Vietnam from Spain, the wife working in Vietnam as a copy writer, and she was the one that sought me out. Another female client was in HR business. They were both highly educated and into writing. They had studied my website carefully before making a decision to try a package. I was so glad to be able to introduce them to sensuality and body exploration. I wish I had more time to help them dig deeper. Women at some point should take control of their sex life and demand to have orgasm and their pleasure to be achieved first.
2021 saw me create a new product called Sheila’s Specials a combination of Sheila’s Massage and Sheila’s Nuru, which is not listed on the website. Sheila’s Massage is a mild version of Sheila’s Nuru intended to wake up client’s senses and make their body more sensitive; therefore touch, orgasm and even pain will be intensified. In Sheila’s Massage, the movements performed by other parts rather than hands are replaced by different parts of the arm and even with the aid of a massage tool. There is no other form of contact except for hands on skin. However, in Sheila’s Specials, most of nuru movements are carried out in its original form, but the masseuse is still clothed. It became quite popular because it was quite affordable at $115 for 90 minutes.
Toward the end of 2021, I learned and practised Swedish massage to extend my portfolio. It is a bit more therapeutic than my Sheila’s Massage with extra pressure, knot removing and requires more techniques. I also have my own massage table, professional massage clothes, tools, blankets and sheets as recommended by mainstream massage schools. When I come back to Vietnam and of course when international travel resumes without mandatory quarantine, you as my old clients will see a new me with better equipment and more services to offer.
In a few more days, it will be 2022; I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a better year than this year, a safe year and a new year full of laughter, happiness and pleasure. As a token of my gratitude, any current clients, past clients, repeat clients or even new clients that are currently in the US will receive 2 vouchers– 50% off of day lift ticket at Mount Snow and any other 35 ski resorts owned by Vail Resorts in the US and Canada if you buy a couple training package. A full window lift ticket on a non-holiday or weekdays at Mount Snow is priced at $124 and during weekends and holidays, this will go up to $134 (excluding tax). This lift ticket can be $199 and $209 at Breckenridge on weekdays and at weekends respectively, I can even arrange the tickets for you to save you a trip to the window and wait for your turn to pick them up.
I also have good news for clients in Vietnam in particular and in Asia in general. When winter season is over in Dover, my precious French client will fly me home as we have recently discussed on what’s app. This time, I will either spend a month in Vietnam and one month in Thailand to do some training and spread the love art to more people there or move back to Vietnam permanently. I will make official announcements in a month or two, and once I have airplane tickets, my dear clients in Vietnam, you can start making bookings.
